In-Person Tutoring (Lower Level, Library)

Mon-Thurs 9:00am - 6:00pm
Fri 9:00am - 1:00pm

Tutoring for math and writing is available during all our hours.  Other subjects such as chemistry, computers, biology, anatomy & physiology, physics, statistics, and upper-level math courses may vary according to availability. 

Online Tutoring

Students can access Online Tutoring through Canvas by clicking on the Enroll Link or by clicking on the Online Tutoring button from within any Canvas course.

Live, Online Tutoring

Mon-Thurs 9:00am - 6:00pm, Fri 9:00am-1:00pm

Meet with a live online tutor from your computer or your cell phone by "clicking on the link: learn.maricopa.edu/enroll/4F9TXK, and sign into Canvas using your MEID and password to “enroll” in the free PC.AY23-24.LearningCommons.Students Canvas page.  From this page, PC students may meet with a live online tutor, submit a paper for review, or submit a math or science question."

Writing Lab

Feedback within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends. Submit a paper from any course to our online writing lab. Our tutors will help you to understand your assignment, develop a thesis statement, organize sentences and paragraphs, learn grammar, and much more.

Ask a Question

Feedback within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends.  Post a question on our Math or Science discussion board.  Our tutors will assist you with understanding the concept and/or directing you to resource materials to help you answer your question.

ESL Conversation Circles

Practice your English speaking skills with ESL Conversation Circles! Circles are free and open to the community. Students must sign up in advance for Circles due to space restrictions. Email patti.blanco@phoenixcollege.edu for more information and/or to sign up!

We have shared HESI Review materials with 900+ Maricopa students since going virtual in SP20!  Students may request a copy of our recorded online workshop and practice tests by emailing learningcommons@phoenixcollege.edu
