1. One of the quickest ways to find a specific article is to use One Search, our discovery tool.

  • Do you have any of the citation elements?  Article title?  Author? - Type the article title and/or author's name into One Search to pull up the article.
  • Didn't record the citation elements? - No problem.  Try searching with keywords on your topic in One Search.

2. If you have the full citation for the article, use Journal Search to access the article quickly.

  • Search Journal Search with the name of the journal - Journal Search shows you which database(s) contains your full-text article.  Click on the database name to navigate to your specific article.

WARNING:  One Search doesn't index all of our articles.  If you can't find the article in One Search, try searching in the most likely library database based on your topic.  Library databases are organized by subject.

3. Still can't find the specific article?  Use our FREE online Interlibrary Loan (ILL) system for requesting the article from a library outside of the MCCCD system.  For assistance placing ILL requests, please contact the Reference Desk at 602-285-7470.
