Yes, the Phoenix College library does have a special collections section that contains rare books, book artwork, and historical material about Phoenix College.

  • The rare book and book artwork titles relate to topics dealing with Arizona and the Southwest.

  • The Phoenix College archival material includes yearbooks, student handbooks, catalogs, and more.  Though the collection is not comprehensive enough to cover every year of the College's past, it is a good starting point for historical information about the student body, faculty, and the institution.  Yearbooks are available for browsing.

Material in special collections can be found in One Search, our discovery tool.  It will be identified as "Special."  Special collections material does not circulate and must be viewed in the library. If you have questions about accessing special collections material, please email library@phoenixcollege.edu
