The Maricopa Native Seed Library provides free seeds (with instructions!) to help bring indigenous plants into urban home landscapes, and Phoenix College participates as a distribution site. These seeds are generally not for edible harvest but rather to aid pollinators and local ecological health (and beauty in our desert!).
Our distribution model has changed to short-term seed selections: instead of maintaining inventory year-round, we will host seasonal events that offer seeds appropriate to the upcoming planting season.
