ScienceDirect uses DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) for persistent URLs. 

  1. From a search results page, click on the hyperlinked TITLE of an article.  
  2. The DOI is located under the author(s). 
  3. Right-click on the DOI and copy the link address. (The library's proxy address will be included with the link.)
