Unfortunately, sometimes streaming video from library databases embedded in your Canvas course might not automatically load to play.   If this happens, try one of these workarounds:

  • Use a mobile browser not the Canvas app.

  • In a separate browser tab, connect to the specific PC Library streaming video database (we have 7 - - click on the link below). You might be asked to authenticate with your MEID and Password.  Then, go back to the tab with your Canvas course and reload the page.

  • Try a different browser.  Some students have reported that a video will play with Firefox or Edge over Chrome.

  • Go to your browser settings and clear your browser history, cache, and cookies.  You should carefully consider the consequences of this option.  Clearing cookies will sign you out of most sites.  Will you remember your passwords?  Clearing your cache will load sites more slowly on your first visit.
