Some courses at Phoenix College require the use of an online textbook. While the details of accessing your textbook may vary based on the publisher, the basic steps tend to be similar for most e-textbooks. Below are the basic steps to access the MyLab e-textbook through Brytewave.
- Go to the PC Bookstore to purchase the MyLab e-textbook. Be sure to inform them of the class you are registered for. When you purchase the e-textbook, the website address for Brytewave (https://brytewave.redshelf.com/) and a PIN code will be on your receipt.
- Next, go to the Brytewave website to create an account and redeem your PIN code.
- When your account is created and you redeem your PIN code, you will receive an access code. Go to your PC course in Canvas to access the MyLab e-textbook. There will be a prompt to enter the access code from Brytewave.
- You will now have direct access to the MyLab textbook through Canvas.
