We sure do!

We accept donations into our collection that fit within our Collection Development Guidelines.  Donated items not accepted into the collection are sold in library book sales.  The profits from library books sales are used to purchase new materials for the library.

If you are interested in donating items, please contact PC Librarians by email at library@phoenixcollege.edu or phone at 602.285.7470.  Please note that while the library can provide, upon request, a letter of donation acknowledgment for the number of items donated, the library does not supply an estimation of the value in that acknowledgment.

The following materials can not be accepted as donations:

  • Materials which bear the ownership markings of another library or institution
  • Items in poor condition and/or would require extensive conservation.
  • Outdated materials, especially in disciplines where the most current, recent, and accurate information is essential.
  • Print journals/magazines/periodicals
  • Computer software and manuals, CD-ROMS, digital files
  • Cassette tapes/audio cassettes/, or VHS tapes
  • Advance Reading Copies/Galleys/Preview copies
