Beginning December 17, 2021, all users will be required to enter an email address in order to use Ask A Librarian chat service. Please view the following statement for more information.

Ask a Librarian and Retention of Personal Information:
The MCCCD Ask a Librarian service requires an email address to initiate a chat. Personal information, including email addresses (required) and names (optional), is used for Ask a Librarian purposes only.  Email addresses, names, and IP addresses are retained for 90 days and then permanently expunged from the service.
