We understand that sometimes things happen and library material gets either lost or damaged. A few things to know:
- Books that are 28 days past the due date and non-books (e.g. DVDs) 14 days past the due date will be considered lost. The cost of the item will be added to your library account and student record.
- Borrowers have 90 days from the date the item becomes lost to return material and have their debt reversed. After 90 days, lost items will be required to be paid, whether returned or not.
- Refunds will not be issued for paid lost material if returned 90 days or more after the item becomes lost.
- Payment for lost material and processing fees may be made at Student Business Services or online in the Student Center.
KEEP IN MIND: Unresolved charges may restrict class registration and acquiring transcripts, so be sure to take care of payment as soon as possible.
