Leisure reading refers to the activity of reading a text of your personal choice and interest (rather than a text that was assigned or required to read).  Time spent leisure reading can be pleasurable, entertaining, and relaxing, as well as an opportunity to explore interesting topics and learn something new.

The Phoenix College Library has a leisure reading collection (located on the main floor) that includes both fiction and non-fiction titles for your enjoyment.  The collection consists of popular and current titles that have a broad appeal--rather than an academic focus--and supports life-long learning for our community.  If you are looking for ideas on what to read next, the leisure collection is a great place to browse and discover something new.
