The Research Assistant is a new tool in our One Search that uses generative AI to help answer academic and research questions based on library sources. Based on your search question, the top 30 results are selected. Then, five sources that, based on their abstracts, appear to be the most relevant to your question are shared. You will be asked to log in with your MEID/password to use this tool.
When using the Research Assistant, write your search as a question in natural language.
The Research Assistant helps you find and understand relevant sources. Be sure to link out to the actual sources. It's always a good idea to confirm the accuracy of the summaries from the Research Assistant by going to the original source. You'll also be citing the original sources of information.
